   You must visit http://www.Adobe.com website but note that it is only a 30 DAY TRIAL VERSION you are downloading that will eventually expire except you buy it from Adobe and it is rather expensive. ADOBE ACROBAT 8 comes in both STANDARD and PROFESSIONAL versions and if you visit the Adibe website, there is a matrix that compares & identifies the different facial appearance between versions.

   It is the ADOBE READER that has always been the free download and when you’re surfacing the internet and say want to see a service manual, user manual etc that by clicking on it, the Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat nicely gives one access to an electronic copy, allows you to print pages and even save for future reference. Though the READER does not allow you to edit, insert, add, delete pages and like combine 2 or more pdf files <= only the expensive full ADOBE ACROBAT Standard or Professional version allows such ability, and this is right even if you went out and bought older yet still powerful ADOBE ACROBAT 5 or 6.
